When Henry was 6 weeks old, I took him to Boise to visit with his grandparents, Aunt Jess and to meet his Uncle David, Aunt Libby and Cousin Sophie. Henry did so great on the plane on the way to Boise. He slept the entire time - I know the people sitting near me were thrilled that he didn't make a peep. Boise was so much fun for Henry - he was held by lots of family, went to the Boise zoo and even went swimming for the first time. As I've mentioned before Henry was a great sleeper. It was during this trip that he started waking up only 1 time during the night - he would go to bed at 10 and consistently wake up at 3:30am. After eating and getting a fresh diaper, he would go back to sleep until about 6:30. I know Jake was sad he missed Hen's first trip to the zoo, but really, all he missed was a long nap for Henry at the zoo - perhaps 6 weeks is too early for a trip to the zoo! Henry sure did love the pool. We went swimming a few times and at first he liked to just have his legs in the water but by the end of the trip, I got all the way in the pool with him and he loved being held in the pool. We had a great trip and I am so happy he got to meet David, Libby and Sophie for the first time. The plane ride home went well too - I remember the mid-20's guy that sat next to us. He was on his way to Vegas and definitely was weary of sitting next to a baby. Once we landed, he looked at me and remarked "best plane baby ever!" Henny sure was the best baby ever.
