Henry loved, loved, LOVED his bath nights. Around 7:00, I would go into his bathroom and start the water running and get the bubbles going. I would hear Jake and Henry playing out in the living room and when I would peek my head out, I would see Henry in various states of undress. Henry's fondness of playing piano in the buff started on bath nights. When I would stop the water, Jake would bring Henry into the bathroom. Henry would see me sitting on the bench in the tub and see the bath ready for him, and would get so excited. He would give a big smile and he would start kicking his legs. He was always ready for the bath. No matter how tired he was, he would always love his bath. In the last month or so of his life, he would stick his hands and feet out of his baby tub into the bath tub water and splash all around. He thought it was so funny to see the splashes! He also would always gasp for air after I poured water anywhere near his head - even if it didnt get on his chubby little face! I will always remember bath nights with great fondness.
